We are overhauling the existing 1930s semi-detached house with a two-storey wraparound extension housing new kitchen and dining spaces with a master bedroom suite above, as well as alterations to the existing house and the installation of a heat pump and thermal upgrades.

The design deals with a complex roofscape and uses a material palette of buff brick, textured render and clay tiles to align with the existing house. Large areas of glazing and sliding patio doors on the rear elevation will create a bright and spacious new open-plan kitchen and dining space, connected to existing living areas and the garden.

The project has been a collaborative effort between Studio IMA, a determined and dedicated client, and main contractor GR8 Construction. We are looking forward to seeing more progress over the next few months towards completion.
