Planning Approval at Port Henderson

We have recently secured planning approval for an extension and remodelling of a cottage on a rural site in Port Henderson, Wester Ross.

The existing house is situated a few miles from our recently completed project at Opinan, and seeks to take a similar approach in responding to its exposed and rural setting: carefully positioned openings take advantage of excellent views to the north, west and south, whilst maintaining a low profile within the landscape and creating sheltered outdoor spaces.

A split level extension houses kitchen, dining and living spaces, complementing a cosy living room and three bedrooms within the existing cottage.

We are looking forward to taking the project forward to site in early 2026.

After a very long planning process, we were delighted to recently secure planning approval for a new-build house on a beautiful leafy site in the Scottish Borders.
